 American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) Competitions

2022-2023

For the 2022-23 season, the American Mock Trial Team has travelled to Rochester, NY to compete at the University of Rochester’s Yellowjacket Invitational!

Toronto A (1005) was represented by Jakob Kramer (Director), Michael Marmash (Captain), Rory Banfalvi (Captain), Ira Chandershekar, Carly Struthers, Jasdeep Sodhi, Arjun Arora, and Anasofia Florez

Toronto B (1006) was represented by Humza Khan (Director), Ella Altena (Captain), Malika Bhambra, Sara Leo, Taqwa Jasim, Mathis Cleziou, Vikram Chahal, and Afra Hameed.

Toronto C (1005) attended AMTA Regionals in College State, PA from February 4-5, 2023. Toronto C was represented by Ella Altena (Captain), Humza Khan (Director), Malika Bhambra, Sara Leo, Vikram Chahal, Afra Hameed, and Gigi Gagnier. Although Toronto C did not advance, Director Humza Khan was received 19/20 ranks, and was named an All-Regional Attorney!

Toronto A (1005) attended AMTA Regionals in Buffalo, NY from February 25-26, 2023. Toronto A was represented by Michael Marmash (Co-Captain), Rory Banfalvi (Co-Captain), Jakob Kramer (Director), Carly Struthers, Ira Chandershekar, Jasdeep Sodhi, Arjun Arora, and Anasofia Florez. Sadly, Toronto A did not advance to the Championship Series, but received an honourable mention amongst top ranked schools!

2021-2022

In February 2022, our Toronto A AMT Team qualified for the Open-Round Championship Series with a record of 6-2!

A special congratulations to the following members who attended Open Round Championships with our Toronto A Team, and our very own Bahador Tayebi for ranking as a top witness at Championships!
